Precautionary measures; Underlying health conditions
Re: Coronavirus update; Underlying health conditions
Following advice received from public health England anybody with an underlying medical condition is advised to stay at home for two weeks. School will provide home learning packs for all pupils
This includes children with:
- chronic respiratory diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema or bronchitis
- chronic heart, kidney or liver disease
- chronic neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy
- diabetes
- sickle cell disease
- a weakened immune system as the result of medicines such as steroid tablets or chemotherapy
These measures have been put in place to reduce the social interaction between people and help reduce the transmission of coronavirus. We will provide information on the school’s website and via text message/email through the main contact number provided.
The school will currently remain open for all other pupils.
