Admissions

Applying for a Place at Ravensbury Community School

Ravensbury Community School works with Manchester City Council to make it simple for parents and carers to apply for school places.

Reception to Year 6
Your child will be offered a place at Ravensbury according to our Admission Policy, which is set by Manchester City Council.

To register your child for a place in Reception to Year 6, please contact Manchester City Council’s Admissions Department on 0161 245 7166. You can also find more information about applying for a school place on the council website.

Nursery
If you would like your child to join our Nursery, please contact school for a registration form and return it to the school. Children can start Nursery in the September after they turn 3 years old. Please be aware that Nursery children are unable to attend Breakfast Club.

We aim to offer full-time Nursery places (30 hours per week), including lunch, depending on government funding. All parents need to register at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Eligible families may receive vouchers to use in our Nursery.

Important:
A place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in our Reception class.

You can return the completed Data Checking Sheet to admin@ravensbury.manchester.sch.uk.
