Important notice regarding school closure

!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!!!!!!!!

Last night the Government announced that all schools will close for the vast majority of pupils on Friday 20th March until further notice. School will be open from Monday 23rd March, 8.50-3.30 for children of key workers, those who have a social worker and those who have an EHCP should parents and carers wish them to send them in to school.

Key workers include;

• NHS staff; doctor, nurse, paramedic

• Police

• Fire service

• Essential delivery drivers

We are working with the DfE and the local authority to determine this provision. 

If you fall into any of the above categories and intend to take advantage of this provision then please fill in the form on the reverse of this letter and return it to school. It is important that we know how many children are going to attend so that we can ensure that we have the appropriate staffing levels to keep the children safe. 

Primary school national curriculum tests, known as SATs have been cancelled.
