Workshops Galore!

Date: 13th Mar 2020 @ 5:08pm

It has been a very exciting week for year 5!

Not only were we fortuante enough to participate in one workshop, we were fortunate enough to participate in two!

On Monday we enjoyed a NSPCC workshop, where we learnt about what we can do if we need advice, and where to go if we ever need help and support.

On Friday, we enjoyed a Prevent workshop. We discussed war, and the reasons people choose to join the army or not. We then debated our own views - if we felt we'd rather stay at home (because if no one went to war, there would be no one to fight), or if we would join the soldiers (to protect our homes). Some of us were stuck in the middle and decided that we would stay home, but be prepared to defend our country if our towns/cities were invaded.

What is your favourite memory from this week?

We care, We soar’
