Last half term, we created two pieces of amazing artwork inspired by two Greek artists - Nikolas Georgoudakis and Mike Karolos. We framed our chosen piece and were so proud of them. As part of our study, we explored issues facing modern Greece today, including the fact that many refugees arrive in Greece in search of safety. We were very moved by the CBBC news reports we watched, and wanted to do something to help. A charity called Refugee Action supports refugees in Manchester, so we decided to sell our artwork in order to make a donation to this charity.
