Weekly Vocabulary Challenge

 

This week we are looking at the different ways minibeasts move.

 

Watch this video of Minibeast adventures with Jess.

In the video Jess is looking at all different sorts of bugs, look carefully at how the minibeasts move and think of words to describe their movements.

 

You may like to use words such as: slither, crawl, flutter, scurry, creep, wiggle, march, flap, stretch or jump.

You might be able to think of other words to describe how they move too!

 

After the video, take a look at the pictures below and choose your favourite minibeast.

 

Challenge: Have a go at drawing your favourite bug, then copy the word underneath your picture to say how it moves.
