Hello and good morning everybody!

Today we are going to continue to learn about volume and capacity. We are now moving on from comparing volume to measuring volume and capacity using a measure. Before school closed we started to read how much liquid was in a container using a scale to measure how much. Read the powerpoint at the bottom of the screen to help you remember how to read a scale.

Challenge 1

Complete the colour how much liquid worksheet. Don't worry if you cannot print it off. Draw the container and colour it in.

Challenge 2

Complete the read the scale sheet. Record your answers in the yellow exercise book.

Challenge 4

Find a measuring jug. Fill it up to the top and record how much liquid is in the jug. How much water is in the jug when it is empty. half full, half empty, nearly full and nearly empty?
