Measuring Volume and Capacity using Non-standard measures

Good Morning !

Today we are going to measure how much liquid is in a container using non-standard measures. Before school closed we measured how many cups of water it took to fill up different containers. Don't worry if you cannot remember watch the link below to help you!

Challenge 1

Select 5 different sized containers from the kitchen. How many cups does it take to fill up each container. Which container held the most and which held the least? Record your answers in your book.

Challenge 2

Put a cup outside your home and  leave it outside for 5 days. How much rainwater collected in the cup?

Can you measure it in cups and using a standard measure?
