Good Morning Reception,
Let’s start phonics with the tricky words below. Use three of the tricky words and put them in a super sentence.
Today we are going to continue thinking about the sound ‘ow.’ Start by reading along with the video at the bottom of this blog.
Here are today’s practise and apply activities, which one will you choose?
Activity 1 – Play treasure hunt. Write some of the ‘ow’ words from the video and hide them inside or outside in your house. Find 3 words and write them in some super sentences.
Activity 2 – Label the pictures with the ‘ow’ words
Activity 3 – Put the correct ‘ow’ word in the sentence.
Activity 4 – Read the story ‘Mr Brown’ and find the ‘ow’ words and answer the questions about the story. Do the activity at the end of the story.
