Quarry Bank Mill

We have had SUCH a brilliant time learning about the Victorians this half term! We've learnt so many fascinating facts about what it was like working in mills and factories, and have been shocked at how poor the working conditions were for many...including children as young as five! 

We're currently busy completing our D&T project, where we are using textiles to design a repeated pattern in the style of the famous Victorian artist, poet, designer and manufactuer - William Morris. Keep your eyes peeled on our class page to see our fantastic designs!
