Puppets alive!

After our Punch and Judy show we decided to make our own puppets. Our teachers taught us how to sew! We designed our puppets and sewed them together.

We read the story of Pinocchio and thought it would be a good idea to try and make our puppets come to life. We planned our story on a story mountain, making sure we had a beginning, problem, resolution and ending. We named our puppets and decided what we wanted to happen to them. Some puppets were at the beach and got dragged away by a huge wave. Some puppets were taken by an evil witch or wizard and had to find a way to escape! We all came up with amazing ideas. Miss Calvert was so impressed because it was the first time we had written our very own story from scratch!
