Out of This World! How Far Are the Planets?

Last week Year 5 explored the distance of planets from the Sun by stepping out scaled distances on the playground. Each child represented a planet, standing a set number of steps apart to show how far the planets are from the Sun. It was a fun, hands-on space activity, although it was a long walk for Neptune!
