NEW CC! The Anglo-Saxons and Vikings - Task 1

In CC this term we will be learning about the lives of the Anglo Saxons and Vikings! This is a really exciting topic looking at the lives of the invaders and settlers of Britain ... I'm sure you will all find our loads of interesting facts to share when we are back!

I will post a different CC activity on the blog each, with some fact finding and a task to complete! Remember to write carefully in your exercise book to share later. 

This is a great chance to get creative, so you might also choose to draw pictures, make models or create videos and powerpoints to help present your work! 

Task 1 - Who were the Anglo-Saxons?

Activity:   Imagine you are a child living in an Anglo-Saxon village. Explain what life would have been like at this time for you and your family. Write notes and draw pictures in your book! Try to include:

• Where you lived
• School
• Jobs for children - Are boys and girls treated differently? 
• Work for adults - men and women
• Any objects or artifacts that they might have used at this time.
