Letter to my lovely Year 3's - PLEASE READ**

Date: 20th Mar 2020 @ 8:45am

Hello my lovely Year 3 children!!! Miss Humphreys here.

I’m writing this letter to you because unfortunately, I can’t be in school with you at the moment but I want you to know that I am not off because I am sick or poorly, I am absolutely fine and you will be too so nobody should be worrying! :)

I’m sorry I’ve not been there with you when it’s been a bit of an unclear time. I’m missing you all so much and wish I could be there with you.

You’re about to have a confusing and unusual few weeks where you might not have to come to school but that doesn’t mean you can’t continue your learning at home. I am SO proud of all the hard work you’ve put in this year so far and I want that to continue.

As you know, I am always SUPER impressed when you come in to school and show me the work you have done at home… I want that to continue!!! In fact, I am going to be so happy if you are able to show me your work that you’ve completed over the next few weeks by sending it in emails to  y3homelearning@ravensbury.manchester.sch.uk.

There may even be some prizes involved!!! This email address is set up for you or your adult to ask me any questions you might have on some of the work you have to complete whilst you’re at home.

Make sure you keep your eye on our class blog on the school website. I will be uploading lots of things on to it including activities like Sentence of the Day. There are loads of websites that you can visit online like hit the button, TT Rockstars (remember, we’re still trying to beat Miss Faragher’s class!!!) and top marks. For a little bit of fun, remember to visit GoNoodle or Just Dance on YouTube to keep your bodies fit and healthy!

We’ve had a few chats in class about what is going on in the world right now and for that reason, I’m not sure for definite when we will be back into our classroom. I hope it is soon because I am bored at home without you crazy lot making me laugh.

Can’t wait to see you all as soon as possible! Stay safe, remember to listen to your adults at home and just keep washing your hands in the same way we have been doing at school.

Love

Miss Humphreys
