Gliders!

Our History topic this term is called 'How did we learn to fly?' In our history lesson last week we learnt about the history of flight and how different inventors thought about different ways to travel in the air. We learnt about gliders, hot air balloons and planes. We discovered that gliders were one of the first inventions that someone called Leonardo Da Vinci invented.

We made some gliders using a wooden skewer, paper wings and blue tack. We took our gliders outside to test them out on a very windy afternoon!
