Daily Phonics Challenge: Friday 3^rd July

Good Morning Nursery!

For today’s segmenting game we are going to dress a baby/teddy.

For this activity you will need a doll or a teddy and some items to dress it (e.g. hat, sock, coat, boot, top etc).

Set out some clothes for the baby/teddy e.g hat, coat, boot, sock, dress, top.

Choose one of the items by using sound talk. E.g. I am going to choose a coat, c-oa-t… coat. I am going to put a b-oo-t on the doll, b-oo-t… boot etc.

This week we have played lots of segmenting games. Which one did you enjoy the most?

Choose your favourite one and play it again today or over the weekend with your family.
