Big Sing!

What an unforgettable experience our Year 6 pupils had this week as they proudly represented our school at The Big Sing event at the Bridgewater Hall! From the moment we stepped inside the grand concert venue, excitement filled the air – and it didn’t stop until the final note was sung.

The Big Sing brought together schools from across the region to take part in a huge, energetic singing celebration. Led by professional musicians, vocal leaders, and a live band, our pupils joined hundreds of others to raise the roof with their voices. The morning was packed with rhythm, movement, and of course – brilliant singing!

Seeing all that hard work come to life in such a prestigious venue was truly special. The children sang with confidence, passion and huge smiles – and it was clear that they were loving every minute!

One of the highlights was the moment the lights dimmed and the hall echoed with hundreds of voices singing in harmony. It gave us all goosebumps! For many of our pupils, it was their first experience of performing in a venue like the Bridgewater Hall – and they certainly rose to the occasion.

As always, our pupils were a credit to the school – showing excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and a true love for music. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Thank you to the organisers of The Big Sing for such a fantastic opportunity – and to our amazing children for making it a day we’ll never forget!
