A Soaring Start!

Hello! 

We are now in our final term of year two and I cannot believe how fast the time has flown!  The children have had an amazing start to the summer term across all subjects. This half term has started with lots of new learning. Some of our learning so far has been starting to explore persuasive writing for writing a letter, identifying different coins and their values in maths and starting to discuss 'why do some animals live in cold places and others in hot?' in our geography learning.  Check out the photos below to see what we have been learning and exploring! 

Our current PE days are: Monday and Thursday. Please ensure your child is wearing full PE kit on these days. This includes a white T-shirt, pair of black shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms & some pumps/trainers.

Please ensure that your child reads his/her book EVERY night at home and please sign their reading record. We have weekly awards for children who have been reading their book and completing their homework.
