Hello again Year 6, I hope you have all had a great weekend and are feeling refreshed and ready to do some more learning this week!

Here are some ideas for your learning today:

Maths
Have a look at the code-breaker that I have attached at the bottom of this blog.
It is all to do with fractions so make sure that you check back to Miss Thornton's ShowMes or use your red book to help you.
Email us in your answers so we can check them
I will be posting the answers tomorrow and will give a shout out to any correct answers!

English
I have been reading through your Rose Blanche stories and have been blown away by how interesting and creative they are - you really are fantastic at descriptive sentences!
I will be posting some of these to twitter and on the blog over this week so keep checking back to see if yours is there.
Have you started any of the writing challenges from your pack yet? Pick one for this week and have a go! Send us in what you have written so far, Miss Thornton and I love reading what you have written and we can offer suggestions for where to take your writing next.
Play this game:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/skillswise/punctuation/z7b247h
Use this to start editing any writing you have done already - see if you can use any higher level punctuation such as dashes or parenthesis.

Taskmaster
Over the weekend, I was sent a challenge by a friend and I thought I'd challenge you all to see if you can be more creative than we were (I bet you can!)
Have a look at the challenge and have a go - email or tweet us your entries and we will choose our favourites over the next couple of days.

There are no limits to what you can use or who can help you (get your whole family involved!)

Don't forget to check out Miss Glover's Wellbeing Challenge! It's so important to make sure that you are staying positive and looking after yourselves while you're at home - send us in your ideas, I'll post mine later today!

I think that's it for today.
As always, stay safe and keep washing those hands!

See you tomorrow,
Miss Kenwell
