World War Two topic launch

Today was exciting as we went back in time to September 3rd 1939 to the day World War Two began. We all enjoyed being in role and taking part in a school day with our war names and meeting our war teachers... Miss Gilbertson and Miss Wilson. We were just taking part in our school dance when the siren went...then it was straight back to our rooms to gather around the "wireless" and listen to Neville Chamberlain's speech.Over the next few weeks we will be researching how war began and what life was like for people during the Blitz.
