Weekly vocabulary activity

Hello Year 2,

This week I want you to think about some key words that may help you when you are researching our new connected curriculum topic. When we are learning new words, it is important that we use them hourly, daily and weekly.  

For this weeks challenge, I would like you research the meaning of the words reuse, waste and composting. Once you have researched and written down the meaning of the words, discuss with an adult what they mean and use them as often as possible throughout the week.

Why don't you make yourself a tally chart where you can record how many times you have used your new words this week?  I'm sure that you can manage using your new words at least 5 times throughout the week.
