Wednesday 13th May: Phonics - Rhyme

On Monday we looked at the story ‘Oi Frog’ and you found pairs of rhyming words.

Today we are going to continue our work on rhyme and create some rhyming strings.

Your challenge today is to look at the pictures below (snake/cake, fox/box, rat/hat, dog/frog, frog/log, fleas/keys). Say the rhyming pair, then think of another word that rhymes to make a rhyming string. 

For example:

mole, pole, hole

mule, stool, pool
