Good Morning Reception,
Today for your phonics I would like you to start by listening and joining in with some of our phonic songs:

I want you to use the Phase 2 sound mat and play fastest finger. Who can touch the sound that's said the quickest?
Now get out the sound cards that you cut up for Phase 2. Play snap with the sounds. Each sound has two cards. Let's see how many snaps you can get!
Use the cut up sound cards to play the game Make the word. Listen to your grown up saying some words. Can you use the sound cards and make the words? You might want to write the words once you have made them using the sound cards.
Grown ups your words to say are:
bag, sat, pan, lip, sock, dog, bat, miss, hiss, hill, red.
