Well done to AdenGanesaJediah, Maddison and Victoria, for completing yesterday's Landmark Challenge! I have always known the landmark as Big Ben, in London. But Aden and Maddison have informed me, that it is actually called Queen Elizabeth Tower, and Big Ben is just a nickname! What an amazing new fact. Here are some of the other facts you all shared:

It's next to the Houses of Parliament.

It was originally called the 'Clock Tower.'

It's the biggest four facing tower in the world.

On the 2nd September 1666, the Great Fire of London happened in the bakers shop on Pudding Lane, belonging to Thomas Farriner. The fire started at 10pm at night and 3 hours later, the city was gone.

I'm learning so much, from all of your wonderful facts! Thank you and well done everyone!

My mum chose today's landmark. Apparently I have been there before...but I don't remember it at all! Here it is:
