Thursday 14th May Writing

Date: 14th May 2020 @ 9:12am

Good Morning Reception!!

Firstly, I want to show off some amazing work we have received this week from some of our wonderful children linked to the story ‘The Snail and the Whale.’

Well Done!!!yesheartsmiley

Today I would like you to think about the two main characters in the story, Snail and the Whale… What do they look like? What colours can you see? What shapes can you see? What size are the animals? Talk to your grown up about one of the animals. Remember to talk in full sentences…

Choose one character and write some sentences describing it and draw a picture of the animal.

For example,

The Snail has a hard shell on his back. The shell has a striped pattern that is brown and white. It moves very slowly because it is a small animal.

Don’t forget to send in your photos/work to receptionhomelearning@ravensbury.manchester.sch.uk
