Spring 1 Week 2

We did an experiment on solids, liquids and gases.

In writing we've been writing a persuasive letter to Mrs Hughes

In maths, we've been working on fractions.

We have been reading 'The Water Horse' in our class reading lessons.

In P.E. we have been developing our underarm throw.

In swimming we had races to improve our swimming speed.

In English we were writing about the mysterious egge we found.

In CC we are learning how to survive without water.

In CC we are learning to save water

In writing we are working on a final draft of a letter.

In music we composed a soundscape to represent different bodies of water.

We completed a problem solving workshop with the 'Happy Puzzle Company'. 

We went for a swimming lesson and some of our confident swimmers used fewer swimming aids.

In CC we looked at river banks and a flood plain.

In CC we learnt how a lake gets to the sea.

We've learnt about improper fractions.

In our assembly we learnt to never give up.

We had a spelling test and improved on my last scoreIn science we we grouped different materials.

In maths we learnt to convert improper and mixed numbers.

We have read 3 chapters of 'The Water Horse'.

We developed our knowlede of what fractions are.

We learnt Spanish names for colours.

In science we compared different states of matter.
