School linking project visit

Date: 30th Jun 2023 @ 12:21pm

On Thursday, we visited a different school in Wythenshawe called SS John Fisher and Thomas Moore primary school. We spent time making friends with different children which was a lot of fun. We were all in a group with children who we'd never met before, and at first it was a little scary and played some games whereby we learnt more about our new friends. We even had a competition to see which group knew the most about climate change and team 4 won. We saw Chris and Izzy again who are from the charity HOME who ran workshops for us on the day. We explored the school and got to see different classrooms - the school was very different to ours. As well, we found out that the person who drew the Minions was a pupil at their school. In the afternoon, we made posters of how we would change the world with our new friends. We had a great time at break and lunch, even though their break and lunch times are shorter than ours. Luckily, we had a third breaktime in the afternoon which made up for it.
