River Walks

Date: 6th Feb 2022 @ 1:06pm

This half term, year 4 are exploring 'how would we survive without water?'

To help children understand how important water is, as well as the features of known rivers, we embarked on a walk to a local river.

When we arrived at the River Medlock, we had a great time sketching the river, labelling it's features (such as the river bank and meander), as well as answering questions about the river where we considered it's uses and how it helps to sustain wildlife.

Even though we got caught in the rain, we had a fantastic time!

We care, We soar’
