Parent Vocabulary Stay and Play

This morning Reception children invited Parents/Carers into our classroom to show how we learn new vocabulary linked to our topic or story of the week. It was great to see so many parents getting involved in the activities. We started by teaching parents our Word Rap and then had a range of activities that supported children in learning vocabulary with some links to our phonics teaching.

The words we have learnt so far are...

flickering, belonged, rescued, dwellers, pirate, dragon slayer, astronaunt, dragged, crunched, cracked and pirate.
