Today we are going to play a game... follow the instructions and complete today’s challenge!
Have a look at the pictures at the bottom of the post to help you play this game.
Challenge:
- Write numbers on paper or use chalk on the floor in your garden.
- Go on a hunt to find one item to put next to number 1, two items that are the same for number 2, three items that are the same for number 3 and four items that are the same for number 4.
You could find and use natural objects in the garden or find something from inside such as pencils, cups or books.
Remember to look carefully at the numeral and count each object one at a time saying a number name for each item.
Can you say recognise the numeral and say how many are in each group?
