Funny old week

Date: 29th Mar 2020 @ 11:53am

Hi everyone,

Last week school was closed to the vast majotiy of our pupils and it was really strange. The building just          didn't seem the same. It is true what people say that a building is only a shell made of bricks and mortar            and it is the people in it who make it a special place. How true they are! .

I know it must be really strange for you too doing your learning at home but you are doing a brilliant job. I've missed each and everyone of you but I have loved reading about what you have been up to on twitter and your teachers have been giving me daily updates about all of your amazing learning. I've loved seeing pictures of the things you've being doing; painting rocks, baking, doing yoga and reading outside so keep send them.

Hopefully if everybody does what they have been asked to do and stay at home, it won't be too long before we are back in school but until then keep checking the school website and your class blog page. Your teachers are putting on lots of activities and messages to keep you busy. Mrs McAffer is setting a weekly art challenge, last weeks challenge was about Magpies; well done Melissa I loved your picture.

I am sending a great big thank you to all your grown ups who are helping you with your learning, it isn't easy for them too so make sure you do what they ask. Remember it is difficult for every one but we need to do this to make sure everyone stays safe.

Remember we are always only a phone call or email message away!

Take care and stay safe
