Date: 5th Jul 2020 @ 9:23pm

How are you going to learn about minibeasts this week?

You can choose how you would like to learn about minibeasts by picking one or more of the challenges below:

1) Story time:

This week’s minibeast story called Norman the slug with the silly shell! Click on the picture below to listen to the story.

Norman is a slug who longs to be a snail – if only he could find a shell A tennis ball… An apple… What will Norman use for his precious shell?

Can you design a shell for Norman?

Remember to take a photo of your picture and send it to nurseryhomelearning@ravensbury.manchester.sch.uk

2) Cosmic Kids Bug Adventure:

It's all about the BUGS in this compilation of awesome yoga videos! We've got ants 🐜, stick bugs, spiders 🕷 & bees 🐝 all ready to help us enjoy stretching & moving our bodies and looking after our minds as well!

Enjoy listening to the stories and join in with these yoga moves!

4) Move and dance like minibeasts!

Create movements for this Bug n Roll song.

Can you march like ants, buzz like a bee, blink like a firefly and creep like a caterpillar?

6) Let’s get creative!

Have a go at creating your very own moving snail. Watch the clip below to see my moving snail!

You might like to create a pattern to make a paper plate snail or use collage materials to design a funky shell!
