Christmas week

This is going to be a very busy week at Ravensbury, filled with lots of fun Christmas activities! We thought it would be helpful to share the schedule on here:
Monday - In the morning we will be inviting parents in to fill a bag of xmas fair leftovers!
After school we'll be drawing the raffle in the hall.
Monday and Tuesday are party days. Children will come to school in their party clothes.on their day.
Wednesday - is Christmas dinner day.
Friday - finish for Christmas holidays at 2:30pm.
Throughout the week, we will be making a Christmas card for children to bring home and completing some maths and English related Christmas activities. Towards the end of the week, we will be emptying trays and lockers. Please could you send your child in with a bag on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday so that they have something to carry their things home in.
Reading books will be collected in this week and handed back out when we return at the beginning of January.
Finally, it has been an aboslute pleasure to teach your children this term. They are an aboslute pleasure! Mrs. Ratcliffe finishes this week for maternity leave and she is very sad to go but Mrs. Caine is so very excited to take over! We can't wait to see what progress the class makes during the rest of year 5 - in all sorts of ways. Have a very restful holiday 5CR!
