Categorizing Materials!

We have been exploring objects around us and identifying the materials that they are made from during our science lesson this week! We sorted a bag of objects into groups of materials and compared the similarities and differences. We also looked at photos of objects and sorted them. We had a materials hunt around the classroom and drew pictures of objects according to their materials. We found out that the most popular material used is wood and plastic. We were uncertain why this is and are keen to investigate more next week!
