Biscuit-henge!

Date: 7th Jan 2023 @ 12:59pm

This week we kicked off our new topic with a launch. We will be learning all about the Stone Age in History and looking at different rocks and minerals in Science. To launch our topic I challenged the children to work in groups to make a model of the iconic Stonehenge... out of biscuits!

We also had the opportunity to look at a veriety of rocks in our science lesson. The children carefully investigated the differences in the rocks and made comments about how the looked and felt.

I am really looking forward to exploring the past this term and teaching the children all about how the people of the stone age impacted today's society.

We have our trip coming up on the 17th January! Please ensure all letters are returned next week so that arrangements can be confirmed with school and Tatton Park.

Have a great weekend and I will see you all on Monday!

Miss Higgins :)
