Humphrey comes to visit!

Today we had a very special assembly and a very special visitor came to say hello. Humphrey the bear- the mascot for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital-came along to meet the children. 

The children in Water have voted the RMCH as their charity this year and they have signed us up to become "Humphrey's Helpers." Today everyone in school has received a special box to fill up with as many 5p's or spare change as they can and ALL of the money raised will go towards making the hospital better for all the sick children and the families that visit each year! 

The RMCH is actually 10 years old this year and all of the children are excited to help Humphrey and fundraise for this amazing charity. So... just get collecting any spare change and bring the box back into school over the next few weeks when Lily from RMCH will come back to school and tell us our grand total!
