Vocabulary

In reading, we have been exploring how to work out what different vocabulary means. We used a variety of techniques, including reading around the text, looking for root words, prefixes, and suffixes, and employing synonyms. All these strategies helped us discover what new vocabulary meant, and we will now be able to include it in our writing.
