Thank you to Aden, Ganesa and Maddison for completing yesterday's landmark challenge! The answer was Blackpool Tower, which is in Blackpool! You all taught me some fantastic new facts! Here they are: 

It was supposed to be the same as the Eiffel Tower 

Blackpool tower is next to the North Pier.

Blackpool tower was built on May 14th 1894.

The eye of the tower is the highest point in North West England.
