The Great Fire of London re-enactment

The children have been reading the story 'Vlad'. The children were introduced to the character ' Boxton the rat' who was living in the bakery on Pudding Lane when the fire started. The children worked in small groups to act out the different events to help them remember and summarise the different events in the beginning of the story. Some of the children were narrators and retold the story using story book language and some of the children acted the events out. They worked really hard as a team and their performances were amazing.

Some of the children particularly enjoyed being Boxton the rat and hiding in the corner of the room.
