Quiz 9.6.20

Date: 9th Jun 2020 @ 9:53am

Good morning !

We have five winners who knew it was the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. Well done to : Faith, Naomi, Maddison, Ganesa and Heer !

Faith found the answer by Face timing her Nanna in Italy who also told us that it was built on marshy land - which is why the foundations weren't strong enough to hold it straight .

Maddison found out that the Italian name for the tower is Torre di Pisa and that it measures 56.6m on one side , but only 55m on the other.

Heer and Ganesa found out that because its centre of gravity lies within the base of the tower, it will not fall over .

Great facts smiley

Today's quiz question:

What is the building and what happens in it ?
