Number Bond Investigation

Year 1 have been investigating all of the different ways we can make a number - We now know that these are called number bonds. We have been experimenting using different strategies to find the number bonds. We have really enjoyed experiementing with bead strings and numicon. We are now more confident writing our number sentences and some of us are even challenging ourselves to write them in different ways, for example, 3+4=7 and 7=3+4.
