Happy Friday!

Well unfortuanely it is still raining so it makes learninng outdoors difficult, doesn't it? Today we are going to use our knowledge of suntraction, addition and measures to sove problems with capactity. Let's see how we get on today. Make sure you write your answers down in your yellow exercise books .

Challenge 1

Write the long date. Make sure you underline the date with a ruler.

Challenge 2

Miss Wolfenden is measuring out drinks for Madeleine's party.  Can you work out how much juice she will need?

1. 10 ml of orange juice, 10ml of blackcurrant juice and 10ml of lemon juice. How many ml of juice altogether?

2. 7ml of grape juice, 15ml of orange juice and 3ml of pineapple juice. How many ml of juice altogether?

3. 30ml of lemon juice, 17ml of pineapple juice and 3ml of grape juice. How many ml of juice altogether?

How did you work the answers out?

Challenge 3

1. David bought 10ml of orange. Courteuos drunk 5ml. How much juice is left?

2. 20ml of lemon juice. Faiz drinks 13ml. How much juice is left?

3. Seraj made 15ml of pineapple juice. Kaya drunk 5ml. How much juice is left?

4, YuXiang bought a litre bottle of lemonade. Miss Riley poured 600 ml  of lemonade into a jug. How much lemonade is left?  Miss Wolfenden needed to give 6 children a glass of lemonade. How much lemonade did they each have?

5. A bottle of orange holds 50ml of juice. Miss Wolfenden drunk 10 ml and Miss Riley drunk 10 ml . How much is left?
