Freestyle Footballer visit

Date: 7th Nov 2022 @ 10:42am

This week we were lucky enough to have a visit from the world's number two freestyle footballer and he was amazing! He showed off his skills in assembly and explained to everyone that it took him three hours of practise PER DAY to get as highly skilled as he is. Later in the day, 5CR got the chance to have a go at some of his tricks. Photos and brief instructions should have made their way home on Thursday so children can practise in their own time.

Whilst many children could identify some of the tricks he had taught them, they found it harder to identify the personal development skills they had used such as resiliance, determination and perserverance. We hope that when they are finding a new skill in school tricky, they might be able to remind themselves of today and how long it can take to learn a new skill.
