5HW Outstanding Learners!

I had a wonderful time this afternoon being back in school for a special (socially distanced!) "afternoon tea" in the hall which Mrs Hughes, Mrs Thewlis and Miss Wolfenden organised for the teachers - although I've been in our classroom lots of times these past few weeks (it's looking very organised!), it really hit home today how strange a term this has been. I've so missed you all, and it's felt strange not saying goodbye before the summer holidays. I'm very glad we get to spend the first two days of term together to do some lovely activities and have a chance to properly say goodbye! I know you will have such a fantastic year with Miss Kenwell, Miss Fish and Miss Coulson in Year 6, but before we start thinking too much about that, let me just say...

Miss Wendt and I are so very proud of you 5HW. The way many of you have continued your learning from home has been fantastic, and you have shown such determination and resilience. I've loved seeing your work and reading your comments; you truly are outstanding learners.

Have a fantastic summer break, and I look forward to hearing all your news on Thursday 3rd September!
