We are OUTSTANDING!!
I am delighted to be able to share the schools Ofsted report with you following the inspection on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th October 2017. The report has now been finalised and will be published on the Ofsted website shortly.
Ofsted agreed with all the judgments that we had made about our school in advance of the inspection and confirmed that it is a special place. I am extremely proud to say that Ravensbury Community School has been judged to be an OUTSTANDING school. This is a grading that the school has never received before and this represents a significant achievement for the school.
The overall grades that can be awarded by Ofsted are Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, or Inadequate. Ofsted focus on four key areas: leadership and management; quality of teaching, learning and assessment; personal development, behaviour and welfare; outcomes for students. Our gradings were as follows:
- Overall effectiveness OUTSTANDING
- Leadership and management OUTSTANDING
- Quality of Teaching, learning and assessment OUTSTANDING
- Personal development, behaviour and welfare OUTSTANDING
- Outcomes for pupils OUTSTANDING
- Early Years Provision (Nursery and Reception) OUTSTANDING
The report celebrates the hard work of everyone at Ravensbury; staff, pupils and parents. Here are just a few of the many good things Ofsted had to say about our school.
