Year 1 Provision Areas...

In Year 1 we have these provision areas where children continue their learning using resources and equipment independently:

*construction/small world

*funky fingers/loose parts

*maths/mastering number

*reading/listening station

*writing/phonics

*creative

Each week the challenges are linked with the English and maths learning which is displayed in the areas. Children have a go at reading the challenge along with any symbols or examples of what the challenge should look like. Over the week they have time in the provision to try out the challenges. It's a good way to show independence and practice using our learning powers.
