Wonderful Weighing !

This week the children have been using the balance scales to weigh objects. They have been using comparitive language e.g. heavier, heaviest, lighter and lightest to compare the weight of objects. Then the children weighed different objects and used non-standard measures e.g. cubes to find out how many cubes each object weighed.

The children then recorded their work using pictures and symbols.They enjoyed estimating how many cubes each object weighed.
