Wind Socks

Date: 23rd May 2021 @ 10:58am

In Science this half term we have been learning about the four seasons and weather. Over the past few weeks we have learnt about different types of weather, we have kept a weather diary and measured rainfall over a few days.

Last week we were thinking about wind direction and made some wind socks. We learnt about why some people who have certain jobs need to measure wind direction and made our very own colourful wind socks. We even tested them out and hung them up outside our classroom. They will come home this week when it is a dry day! Wind sock 1.JPG Wind sock 2.JPG
