Quick! There's an Earthquake!

This half-term, year 4 are exploring 'what is there in North America?' with a focus on earthquakes.

To launch this unit, we watched a video of earthquakes that have happened around the world, and then a school drill of what to do in case there's an earthquake.

Year 4 then played some times tables games, while Mrs Frangillo surprised us all by creating an earthquake siren! We had to quickly hide underneath the table, just in case.

There were lots of screaming - but we were super fast at protecting ourselves! We will have to watch out this half-term, in case Mrs Frangillo surprises us with another earthquake siren, during our learning.
