Nursery Rhyme Week

Date: 20th Nov 2020 @ 12:09pm

This week in Nursery, we have been celebrating 'Nursery Rhyme Week!' Each day children have been singing to different nursery rhymes and creating lots of different Nursery Rhyme characters!

On Monday, we sang to the Wheels on the Bus and designed our own red bus with card and tissue paper! On Tuesday, we listened to '5 little Speckled Frogs' and used our finger numbers to help us count down! Hickory Dickory Dock was sang all day on Wednesday! Some children even acted out the Nursery Rhyme using our clock and a mouse! On Thursday, we practised our best animal noises for 'Old MacDonald had a farm!' We used the farm set and acted out the rhyme with the farm animals! Today we sang 'Miss Polly Had a Dolly.' Lots of children enjoyed pretending to be the doctor and looking after our dollies!
